Posted: Updated:

Winter Haven Police are searching for a man who stole two bags of cash from the "Rapid Cash" business.

It happened around 5:08 p.m. Saturday at the store on 1138 6th St.

Police say a female employee had just unlocked the door to go inside... when a man rushed behind her and forced her to go inside.

Police say the man pushed an unknown object in the woman's back and demanded she take him to the safe.

The man took off with two bank bags, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk was not injured.

Detectives released surveillance photos showing the suspect and the car.

He was wearing all black, with red socks and a white hat.

The car is described as a newer model four door, possibly an Acura TL, with stock rims, dark tinted windows and chrome around the window seals.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or any information regarding this case is asked to call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477).

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a CASH reward.
