Fulton teen remains in ICU after deadly wreck

Posted: Updated:

A South Fulton County teen remains in critical condition after surviving a deadly automobile crash over the weekend.

The accident happened on Cascade Palmetto Highway Saturday night.

Police say Myka Roberts was driving when, for an unknown reason, she hit a tree. The rising junior at Westlake High School was killed and her best friend Koryn McLeod clings to life.

McLeod’s mother, Toni McLeod, tells FOX 5 the girls had just left her house three minutes before the crash.

In an amazing show of support, Roberts’ mother stopped by Grady Memorial Hospital to give Toni McLeod some comfort.

A candlelight vigil was held Monday night to remember the 16-year-old’s life.
