TAMPA (FOX 13) - The Tampa Police department has identified two men killed in a single car crash early Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. near a cemetery on Lake Avenue and 46th Street.

Detectives identified the two victims as Willie Boyd III and Algernon Belin Jr.

The men were driving in a black Honda Civic. Tampa police said the car was reported stolen to them from the Hollywood Nights club earlier in the morning.

They also believe it was involved in a ‘shots fired’ call in the 3700 block of Lowry Court.

Witnesses reported seeing a black Civic fleeing the shooting scene at a high rate of speed.

Police said the driver lost control and crashed a short distance away.

Detectives said both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues.
