BRADENTON (FOX 13) -

Manatee County deputies had to use a stun gun twice on a man trying to escape from authorities.

Benjamin Kukwa, 28, was wanted on felony warrants.

Deputies saw him riding a moped in the 1300 block of First Street East in Bradenton Friday night.

They tried to stop Kukwa, but deputies say he took off. Deputies later caught up with him, but he resisted his arrest.

According to an arrest record, deputies had to use a stun gun, but it did not stop him and Kukwa was able to get away a second time.

Deputies used another stun gun to handcuff him.

Kukwa was taken to jail after he was medically cleared.
