ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -

A woman who was passed out in a parking spot was killed Tuesday night when a car pinned her and killed her.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Palm Garden Condo Complex on 4th Street North in St. Petersburg.

Police say a homeless woman, Henrietta Regina Dickson, was sleeping in a parking spot when the resident drove into it. Dickson, 55, was pinned between the car and the concrete parking ledge.

The resident said she felt a minor impact, and when she got out and looked, she saw a bag, but the woman was not visible. She removed the bag and went inside, police said.

The next morning in the light of day, someone saw the woman and called police.

Dickson was pronounced dead on the scene. There are no charges pending against the resident.
