ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -

Family and friends of three women killed in a hit-and-run crash held up pictures, lit candles and prayed for them Wednesday night.

Dozens came together to honor Grace Collier, Jame'sia Lang and Briana Campbell.

The three young mothers died after a wrong-way driver speeding down 16th Street in St. Petersburg hit the car they were in.

Family members say Wednesday night’s vigil was another step in the healing process. For them, they say faith is something they're relying on to get through.

Around 50 family and friends gathered to remember the three women.

Grace Collier’s mother says despite what happened, she isn’t angry at the man police say caused the crash.

"I’m just hurt for right now, because he took three special ones,” says Cheryl Anderson. “I’m gonna deal with it. I’m not hurt, I’m happy, God got me.”

The three women left behind six children, and their families are now trying to figure out how they will raise them.

Marquice Lamonz Anderson, 27, faces a variety of charges in connection with the crash, including vehicular homicide. He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail without bond. Police say more charges are pending.
