2 Dead After Plane Crashes Into Minnesota Home

SAUK RAPIDS, MN- Two people are dead after their plane crashed into a home in central Minnesota.

The low-flying plane went down Friday night, setting a home on fire.

The crash occurred in Sauk Rapids, about 65 miles from Minneapolis.

Officials say the people in the single-engine plane were sightseeing in the area prior to crashing.

The victims' names have not been released.

Officials say one person was inside the home at the time of the incident but was able to evacuate through a window.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.
