You don't have to be an astronaut any longer to experience space travel. Space tourism is a growing business and your tax dollars are being used for marketing.
$1.5 million was allocated in the new budget to market space travel and remind people that the past, present and future is right here in our state. Some of the money is being spent advertising for the website
Ads are running in cities like Chicago and New York as well as airports scattered throughout the country. The primary purpose is to attract tourists to the Kennedy Space Center, but also to benefit commercial companies promoting zero gravity and suborbital flights.
