From FOX 13 Sports Director Chip Carter:

The slogan for the U.S. World Cup team is all over twitter, hashtag, I believe that we can win and there are a lot of believers after game one against Ghana.

The U.S scores in the first 30 seconds, the fastest goal in U.S. World Cup history -- and then they scored again 86 minutes into a 90 minute game, to break a 1 all tie and give the USMNT a HUGE win.

The U.S will now take on Portugal on Sunday June 22nd and they may be catching an early break. Portugal has the best player in the world on their team, Cristano Ronaldo, but he is hurt right now, has knee and leg injury and may or may not play.

Plus, another top player on Portugal Pepe, will definitely be out after head butting a player today. But there is also a big injury question for the U.S, their star play Jozy Altitore has a strained hamstring. He will be in Sao Paulo tomorrow getting that scanned.

So, the U.S. may get a couple of breaks and they could use them. Ghana controlled the game, had great chances, but Tim Howard, the U.S. goalkeeper, made some critical saves -- and the team with a slogan of "I believe that we will win" now has players and fans believers.

In fact, even their head coach, who rarely lets any emotion into his conversation or the game had this to say: "We have a great spirit and (we) fight until the last second," U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann said. "There is undoubtedly things that we need to improve. At the end of the day we got the three points."
