A St. Petersburg man gets caught making meth on the beach in Pinellas County.
Deputies arrested 24-year-old Charles Tapp.
They found Tapp cooking meth in his truck parked on Gandy Beach Saturday night.
Along with the meth, deputies found needles and various chemicals used for making the drug.
During an interview, Tapp admitted to actively manufacturing Methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
Tapp is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, a controlled substance, and Unlawful Possession of the Chemicals Pseudoephedrine and Hydrochloric Gas.
