Suspect leads deputies to stolen money

CITRUS SPRINGS (FOX 13) -

Citrus County deputies arrest two people in connection to a bank robbery in Citrus Springs.

Detectives say 25-year-old Angela Simmons held up the Capital City Bank Friday afternoon.

Witnesses say she was wearing a jacket over her head to disguise herself.

According to deputies, she handed the teller a note, demanding money.

Detectives say Simmons confessed to the the robbery and showed them where she hid the money in the woods.

Richard Patterson, 18, was also arrested for driving Simmons to the bank.
