Cedar Point to reopen Monday after weekend closure

Posted: Updated:
Cedar Point and all surround attractions will reopen for normal park hours Monday.

A broken water main forced the park to close Saturday, canceling vacation plans for thousands. Many say they didn't find out about the closure until after they arrived.

The park remain closed Sunday while Sandusky, Ohio city workers completed repairs to the main water line into Cedar Point.

Normal park hours are 10 am - 10 pm, with early entry for Platinum Passholders and Cedar Point Resort guests at 9 am.

Guests staying at Hotel Breakers, Lighthouse Point and Sandcastle Suites can purchase tickets starting at 8 am. Check-in will begin at 4pm.

A special "H2O Offer" is available now through next Sunday, June 15. Visitors can purchase a one-day Cedar Point admission ticket and receive a free Soak City Ticket. The Cedar Point one-day ticket for this offer is $39.99, and must be used by Sunday, June 15 2014. The free Soak City ticket is valid for use any one day through September 1, 2014.

The offer is only available online at https://www.cedarpoint.com/tickets/.
