Family of teen files federal lawsuit against Charles Pugh

Former Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh fled to New York amid allegations he sexually harassed a teenage boy he was mentoring, but he can't outrun the lawsuit that's now been filed against him.

Prosecutors decided not to file criminal charges, but the boy's family isn't giving up.

Thursday, they served Pugh with a federal lawsuit. Detroit Public Schools is also named in the lawsuit.

FOX's Charlie LeDuff reports the family's lawyer, Bill Seikaly, says he sent a process server to Pugh's apartment in Harlem Thursday afternoon.
