BRADENTON (FOX 13) -

A Manatee County couple accused of animal cruelty are facing new charges Tuesday morning.

Alan and Sheree Napier now face fraud charges. The couple went to jail earlier this year when investigators found hundreds of dogs, cats, horses and pigs living in unfit conditions.

STORY: Deputies seize dozens of animals from Bradenton sanctuary

Detectives say the animals didn't have enough food or water, and about a dozen of them had to be put down.

The couple owns an animal sanctuary in Bradenton.
