Willistown Township Police Officers Rescue Dog From Mud

CHESTER COUNTY, Pa.- Willistown Township police officers are being credited with saving the life of 13-year-old Pluto, a dog found in neck-deep mud near a stream, during the afternoon of Friday, May 9th.

Police say the dog was missing for 3 days and was very close to death when Sergeant Mike Martin and Officer Mike Kushner jumped in to save the canine.

Pluto was treated at Sugartown Veterinary Hospital and is now home resting with his family.

“We feel very fortunate indeed that you are there and always quick to respond, skilled and compassionate," Pluto’s owner said.
