11 students, parent involved in fight at Drew High

RIVERDALE, Ga. -
A Clayton County High School was placed on lockdown after an altercation between multiple students and a parent on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson from Clayton County Schools, the fight broke out around noon at Charles Drew High in Riverdale during an intervention due to a "situation that was brewing between some students."
The meeting included administrators, two parents and their children. Officials say one parent left the meeting before the other parent began the fight.
According to police, the adults told the girls to fight and even joined in on hitting the other teenagers.
The fight which involved parents and students, ended with 13 arrests including 11 students.
Police tell FOX 5 that even after the adults were arrested, they didn't think they did anything wrong.
