One lane of northbound I-75 will be closed for several hours after a dump truck overturned near mile marker 203, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
According to FHP, the accident happened just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. The truck was heading north in the middle lane when its left front tire separated. It swerved into the left lane, where the rim began digging into the asphalt. The truck overturned several times before it landed on its side in the grass median.
Concrete debris being transported by the truck scattered across the interstate during the accident.
FHP says the inside left lane will be closed for several hours as crews clean up the debris and repair damage to the road.
The D.E.P. was also called for a fuel and oil spill from the overturned truck.
