The city of Tampa is celebrating another successful food celebration. First it was burgers... and now, it's something even cheesier. The Mac & Cheese Throwdown at Curtis Hixon Park. Thousands of people came out Saturday to taste some of the best food the bay area has to offer. More than a dozen local restaurants took part in the event. Mayor Bob Buckhorn even came out, to help judge the cheesy champion. The title of Best in Show went to Holy Hog BBQ, for their jalapeno mac & cheese. Ulele took home the People's Choice award. That's the new restaurant on the Tampa Riverwalk. It's so new... it hasn't even opened yet. But it sounds like they already have a signature dish.
