Amazon has started hiring staff for the two large distribution centers coming to the Bay Area.
The company is interviewing for managers first in the areas of equipment maintenance, information technology and human resources.
The facilities are still under construction, but Amazon hopes to be up and running right around the holiday season.
The facility in Ruskin will handle smaller packages, while the one in Lakeland focuses on larger items.
Many of the jobs at both places will be in the shipping and packing areas.
