Friday is a critical day for the Tampa mother accused of killing her two children.
Julie Schenecker's defense team will try to convince the jury that she has has a history of mental issues and was legally insane when she killed her two teenage children.
Attorneys will call her ex husband, Col. Parker Schenecker to the stand.
The defense wants to show all the years she has suffered with mental illness, deep depression, and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
The jury got an eyeful of all the prescription drugs Julie Schenecker was taking.
On Friday, they'll see her husband's email's to her family explaining she was broken long before they got together.
Julie's brother and mother, who have stay behind her every day of the trial, may also testify.
It was her mother, Patty Powers, who called police after receiving a disturbing email from Julie on the night of the murders. It said "I will end this soon."
Mental health professionals will also take the stand.
They'll tell the jury Julie didn't know right from wrong or the consequences of killing her children.
The trial is expected to last another week. The jury could get the case by next Friday.
