MLB Fan Cave Tour

Posted: Updated:
New York, New York (My9NJ) - The Major League Baseball fan cave is located on 4th Street and Broadway in New York City where lucky fans are able to go and engage with their favorite players via social media and get to know more about some of the team’s all-stars both on and off the field.

Keith McPherson was born and raised in Ocean Township, New Jersey and he’s a huge Yankees fan.

“I grew up watching Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera and they’ve just been the cornerstones of baseball for our organization and team and they’re all on their way out after this year after Jeter retires,” he explained.

McPherson is one of eight fans who were selected by the MLB to watch every single baseball game for the entire season right there on the fan cave couch. These guys actually sit with their laptops interacting with an audience of 2.5 million people on a daily basis through social media.

The facility is truly amazing. Budweiser has a VIP lounge where major stars like AfroJack, Avicii and Naz have partied.

There is a pool table and ping pong table, two refrigerators filled with beer and Pepsi, and a slide which McPherson and the other fans use for their ritual when a player hits a home run.

So far, the Yankees are having a good start to the year. They’re in first place in the American League East and McPherson hopes the boys will go all the way this season.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
