Required Screenings: Criminal background checks (Local, State, Federal) as far as the system will allow. SS#, pre-employment drug screen, random drug screening for cause. Drug free workplace.

Job Description: Is responsible for administering the leaves program (workers comp, FMLA, personal leaves, etc) and being the liaison between payroll and Wells Fargo for our 401k plan. The position covers short-term disability and life insurance administration.

Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Verifies and completes benefits enrollment forms, and sends enrollment information to plan administrators. Enters benefits-related data into computerized human resources information systems.Calculates amount of employees' paycheck deductions for benefits, submits to payroll, and resolve discrepancies. Verifies deductions made on payroll each pay period. Answers and resolves phone inquiries. Reviews bills from plan providers to verify accuracy and resolves differences. Produces reports of benefits enrollment, benefits deductions, and plan participations. Distributes benefits enrollment packets upon eligibility date. Processes status changes. Processes open enrollment benefit plan transfers. Provides vendors appropriate documentation for life, pension, and disability benefits claims. Assists in preparing materials and in presenting benefits plan changes to employees.Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping.

Work Environment & Dress Code: Corporate office. Business casual dress code. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Hiring Process: Two interviews. No phone calls or visits to office unless contacted.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. 40-45 hours per week.

Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour.
