A fast-moving fire destroyed a home and sent one person to the hospital in Pasco County.
The fire started around 7 p.m. on Edgewater Circle in Hudson.
Because of high winds fueling the flames, the home was destroyed by the time firefighters arrived. Fire rescue officials said the home is worth $600,000.
Family members told us that the husband that lives there was taken to the hospital.
"We were freaking out," said Alicia Jackson. "I just had my phone. We went to the balcony and were yelling for some help."
Jackson's husband went to the hospital after inhaling some smoke. He's expected to be OK.
Firefighters say the home was three stories. There were no hydrants in the area, so crews had to bring in a tanker.
There's still no word on what caused it.
