The last of three soldiers killed in the shooting rampage at Fort Hood will be laid to rest this morning.
A private visitation for Staff Sgt. Carlos Lazaney-Rodriguez will be held at 9 in Tampa.
Afterward, his body will be escorted to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, where he will be buried.
The sergeant's family lives in Tampa. They describe him as a fun-loving man who enjoyed life and cooking.
Army Sgt. First Class Daniel Ferguson's family held a private funeral in Lakeland on Saturday. Dozens of Patriot Guard riders then escorted his body to Bushnell.
Ferguson joined the Army in 1993 and served tours in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.
He died blocking the Fort Hood shooter from gunning down a room full of fellow soldiers.
The third soldier killed in the attack, Sgt. Timothy Owners, was buried Saturday in Missouri. The shooter was also buried Saturday.
