If you get a warning letter about unpaid tolls in the mail, you may want to take a closer look before paying up.
A fake company called Toll Enforcement, LLC, is sending out hundreds of fraudulent toll violation notices. The letters demand you pay a toll, plus a $50 fee, using a check or money order.
FDOT says it's easy to spot a fake notice. Real toll violation letters include the date and time of the violation, along with a picture of your vehicle passing through the toll plaza.
If you get a letter from Toll Enforcement, LLC, you should call police instead of paying it.
