Authorities in New Jersey are looking for three men caught on camera robbing three different businesses just a few hours apart.

It started around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon when three masked men walked into the Pantry One convenience store in Washington Township.

Police say they pointed guns at the store employees and then robbed the place. One later smashed a store employee in the face with a stolen laptop computer.

"I'm shocked really because he's really a nice guy. Him and his wife are very friendly, easy going," said customer Bob Hanley.

"They were in the store for probably less than two minutes, in and out fairly quickly," Washington Township Captain Richard Leonard told FOX 29.

A few hours later, investigators believe the same trio of armed robbers was at it again. This time they struck Filippos Pizza and Grill in nearby Glassboro. Surveillance cameras captured them as they entered the restaurant and then running from the scene after the robbery.

"We're concerned that it's gonna escalate if they're confronted again and possibly somebody could get hurt," Capt. Leonard explained.

"It's terrible. We cannot accept things like that," said Jay Saija, who operates the mini mart a few feet away. He had just closed his store for the night an hour before the gun toting bandits hit the pizza shop next door.

"Too scary, they rob him, but I am scared too," Saija told FOX 29.

"They've had breakins in the neighborhood in houses so I guess it just coincides with that," another customer said.

Police say the armed robbers wore similar clothing and used similar tactics when they robbed Pantry One, the pizza shop and then Yogi's Market back in Washington Township, a short time later. Once again three masked men with guns pulled off the heist.

"The clothing description and the m-o matched as to how they operated," Leonard said.

The three robberies in a five hour span have store owners in this area on edge and police hoping someone recognizes the suspects from surveillance video.

"Maybe somebody could help us out with a tip," Leonard said. "We obviously want to get these individuals off the street before they hurt somebody and before this escalates into more than just a robbery."

Police received several tips about a getaway car. They are still trying to determine the exact make and model of the car. Anyone with information should call Glassboro Police at 856-881-1501.
