MAGNOLIA, Del. -

Delaware State Police say a man is accused of raping a 15-year old female during a sleepover early Sunday morning.

Police arrested 22-year old Jimmie L. Underwood. Officials say an investigation revealed that a 15-year-old female victim was attending a sleepover at a female friend's residence on the 100 block of West Cherry Drive when the incident took place.

State police say the victim was in a room watching a movie with her female friend and Underwood when he began making inappropriate advances and physical contact with her.

The victim then left the residence and notified her mother, who later called state police.

Following an investigation, arrest warrants for Underwood were obtained and he was taken into custody without incident at a residence on Ironmine Road in Felton.

Underwood was charged with second-degree rape and taken to jail in lieu of $20,000 secured bond.
