Illegal Dumping Suspect Caught After Ink Cans Left In Woods

Posted: Updated:
GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. -

Police in Gloucester County say they're found the person who illegally dumped large metal containers of printing ink and other trash in a wooded area earlier this month.

The ink dumping suspect was NOT the driver of the white Ford F-250 that was posted but that vehicle is suspected for dumping other materials in the Lakeland woods.

Authorities say the dumping occurred between March 21 and 26 in Lakeland section of Gloucester Township, near the model airplane field.

The majority of the containers were labeled "Superior Printing Inks," and all of the containers appeared to be older, as if they were in storage for many years.

Gloucester Township Police say a possible suspect vehicle entered by way of a dirt road portion of Collier Drive and left the area at a high rate of speed twice on March 24, 2014 at approximately 12:30 p.m. and again at 1:45 p.m.

Township police "Graffiti Cameras" captured photos of the back of the white Ford F-250 pickup with a short bed, New Jersey tags and a multi-ball "Draw-Tite" trailer hitch. Both times the vehicle entered with trash cans in the bed standing in the upward position and then left with those same cans lying down on their sides.

The ink dumping suspect was NOT the driver of the white Ford F-250 that was posted but that vehicle is suspected for dumping other materials in the Lakeland woods.
