Drivers are paying more money for fuel in Florida.
This week, AAA reports the average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.63 per gallon.
That's 8 cents higher than the national average of $3.55 per gallon and 21 cents higher than the $3.42 per gallon paid by drivers in Georgia and Tennessee.
Analysts attribute the increase to supply, demand and seasonal travel. Florida is a popular destination for spring break travelers and baseball fans in March.
The state's fuel supplies are also tightening because there are fewer refineries open to meet the world's demand.
International conflicts have increased worries about supply disruption and U.S. consumer spending continues to climb.
Florida drivers are paying their highest price for regular gasoline since July. Analysts say they do not anticipate those prices reaching $4.00 per gallon.
