Bucs' Williams to appear in court

Posted: Updated:
TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams is expected to face a judge today.

It will be the first time Williams has made a public appearance since he was stabbed earlier this week. His brother, Eric Baylor, is charged in that stabbing, but today's court appearance is related to a different case.

Williams faces accusations that he did hundreds of dollars in damage to a home in Hillsborough County. He faces criminal mischief and trespassing charges. The incident happened in December.

Williams has pleaded not guilty.

The court appearance comes just days after Williams was hospitalized after being stabbed in the thigh inside his Avila home.
