NJ Judge Rules School Can Sue Students Accused Of Bullying

PHILADELPHIA -

A New Jersey judge rules that a group of Hunterdon teens who allegedly bullied a classmate can be sued by their school.

It all started when a 17-year-old claimed other students tormented him for four years between the fourth and eighth grades.

The teen sued the school under the state's strict anti-bullying law for failing to intervene after the alleged bullying was reported.

There is a lot to this story, so "Good Day Philadelphia" brought in attorney Heather Hansen to help us break it down.
