Authorities Release Washington State Mudslide 9-1-1 Calls

Posted: Updated:

At least fourteen people have been killed in the disastrous mudslide that hit Washington State on Saturday.

Scores of people still remain unaccounted for.

Rescue crews along with family members have been seen using chainsaws and their bare hands to dig through the mud and debris littered along Snohomish County.

Authorities have released 9-1-1 calls from people describing the devastation.

About 30 houses were destroyed, and the debris blocked a mile-long stretch of state highway near Arlington. Crews say this is the worst natural disaster they've seen in the area.
