Teen hit and killed by two cars in St. Pete

ST. PETE BEACH (FOX 13) -

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday in the 4900 block of Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach.

According to investigators, 17-year-old Patrick McClean, of St. Petersburg, was crossing the street when he was hit by a car, and then run over by another vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies say alcohol may be a factor in the crash. Both drivers showed signs of impairment.

Investigators say McClean did not use a crosswalk.
