TAMPA (FOX 13) -

The Buccaneers are remaining active in free agency today, entertaining a number of players and signing several -- including a possible new starting quarterback.

Josh McCown, a journeyman QB who most recently started several games for the Bears, agreed to a two-year, $10-million deal this afternoon. The signing sets up a possible competition for the starting job between McCown and second-year QB Mike Glennon.

He is also the older brother of former Bucs QB Luke McCown.

The Bucs also signed defensive end Michel Johnson, tight end Brandon Myers, and defensive tackle Clinton McDonald yesterday.

Meanwhile, the team also entertained visits from cornerback Charles Tillman, center Evan Dietrich-Smith, linebacker Dane Fletcher, offensive tackle Anthony Collins, and wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.

In terms of departures, the team released Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis just prior to the 4 p.m. deadline.
