The family of a young woman found critically injured on Interstate 85 on Friday believes they know what happened, but they are asking for help in finding who did it.

As 22-year-old Joresa Critten fights for her life in the Intensive Care Unit at Grady Memorial Hospital, her family begin the search to the answers of who is responsible for putting her there.

According to reports, Critten was struck near the Sylvan Road exit around 8:00 Friday morning.

Georgia State Patrol say the car that hit Critten, left the scene. She was transported to Grady Memorial with serious injuries.

Traffic was blocked for hours while authorities processed the accident scene. All lanes re-opened around 10 a.m Friday.
