Two injured in I-4 crash

Two people were taken the hospital with life-threatening injuries when one car slammed into the back of another along Interstate 4 Thursday night.

It happened just before 9 p.m. on the eastbound lanes near the 22nd Street exit.

According to fire rescue crews, one car was pulled over on the side of the interstate because of a flat tire.

Another car slammed into the back of that car.

One person in the disabled car, and the driver of the moving car both had serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.

Traffic was down to one lane while rescue crews helped the injured.

There's no word yet on anyone's identity.
