TAMPA (FOX 13) -

A car stolen from the back of a transport trailer is the same one used in a chase that led to a department store lockdown in Brandon Monday, authorities confirmed.

The stolen car was a silver 2014 Hyundai taken from the Carmax on Nebraska Avenue.

The chase began in Palmetto after witnesses said they saw two of three suspects trying to break into a home.

The suspects drive up into Hillsborough County, where they lost control on the Highway 60 exit ramp.

They ditched the car and ran into the Brandon Westfield Mall. Deputies evacuated and locked down the Dillard's store while they searched for the suspects.

Deputies found and arrested all three men. They were 21-year-old Darrell Matthew, 18-year-old Jaquavius Francis, and 21-year-old Patrick Hooker. They are being charged with armed burglary and grand theft auto with additional charges pending.
