Former Police Chief Kessler Announces Reality Show

Posted: Updated:
GILBERTON, Pa. -

It's official: A controversial former Pennsylvania police chief is getting his own reality show.

None of this may have happened if not for a video posted to YouTube.

Mark Kessler and the town of Gilberton in Schuylkill County reached a legal settlement last week that allowed him to retire from the police force.

All of that came after Kessler posted videos of himself shooting automatic weapons and cursing during political rants.

On Monday, Kessler announced has signed a development deal with a production company for a reality show.

Kessler said the show could feature a militia-style group he started last month.

There's no word on when or where the show will air.
