The USF softball team has seven seniors on the roster. Six grew up in Tampa Bay, and two grew up together.
The Goff twins played high school softball for Sickles and all four years together for the Bulls.
Ashli Goff has enjoyed every practice, every inning.
"I love the competition and the adrenaline that goes through you. You don't feel that anywhere else," she says.
Twin Courtney concurs.
"I agree... completely. I like the adrenaline you get... like the competition all of that," she added.
Head softball coach Ken Eriksen finally has days he can tell the sisters apart. He appreciates the differences the identical twins make.
"When those two come to the ballpark every day, they put a smile on your face, because they give you 100 percent effort," Eriksen says. "They give you star effort every day, you know, and they don't get the accolades that the other players get. But, if you take a look at our games over the last four years, they're in the mix in every 'W'... you know, that's special."
This final USF season is special to the Goff sisters and their family. They all dread the end, even while working for a World Series finish.
