Police Search Northeast Bank Robbery Suspect

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are searching for man responsible for robbing a bank in Northeast Philadelphia.

The incident happened just after 1p.m at the M&T Bank branch located at 9375 Bustleton Avenue.

Police say the man came into the bank, showed a teller a threatening note, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot.

Surveillance video captured this crime. The suspect appears to be a white male in his 40s, approximately 5'11" tall, thin build. He had long gray hair – which may have been a wig – and wore a red jacket, red knit hat with multicolored stripes, sunglasses, and blue jeans.
