The original entry registration deadline was Thursday, February 13th, but the deadline to register for the lottery selection process for the Blue Cross Broad Street run has been extended to noon February 15th due to power outages.
"We are well aware that many of our participants have been dealing with major difficulties relating to the most recent weather issues," Race Director Jim Marino said. "As a courtesy to our loyal running community we are determined to give them every opportunity to take part in this annual Philadelphia tradition to be held on May 4th by extending the deadline to enter the lottery."
The 10 mile Broad Street run will be on its 35th year. It will happen at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. The race starts at Broad Street and W. Fisher Avenue. It ends at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, at the Southern end of Broad Street.
