The daughter of a popular Tampa DJ was one of two people found dead this morning at an address near Busch Boulevard.
FOX 13's Shayla Reaves reported that homicide detectives were at East Poinsettia Avenue and North 24th Street investigating what they called "suspicious deaths."
Now, we're learning more details about the victims. Dave "Flash" Morgan, a radio personality on Q105, posted on his Facebook page that his daughter, Chelsea, is one of them.
FOX 13 has confirmed with detectives that 21-year-old Chelsea Sizemore and 28-year-old Eric Salabirria were killed in the incident. The couple's 2-year-old daughter was inside at the time.
Police have not said what happened, but Morgan said on his page he believes it was a home invasion.
"I am living a parent's worst nightmare as I type this message out," he said. "I will probably be out of touch for a bit as I try to get my head around this."
Police only confirmed that both died from upper body trauma. They say they're still investigating what happened, and they said they had no motive.
A spokesman, however, did say that he didn't believe there was any immediate danger to surrounding neighbors.
Tampa police were notified by a concerned neighbor around 9:30 Wednesday night.
