TALLAHASSEE (FOX 13) -

Four Florida State University fraternity brothers face misdemeanor hazing charges.

Michael Salem, 21, Charles Kalb, 19, Alex Lavene, 21, and Tyler Linabury, 21 were arrested Friday following a three-month investigation.

They are all members of Sigma Chi fraternity.

Investigators say the charges stem from their role in a number of fraternity rituals.

In one case liquor bottles were taped to pledges hands and they were encouraged to drink as much as possible.

There are also reports of verbal abuse.

The University is investigating the charges.
