Numerous agencies teamed up in Pasco County Friday to collect fugitives, and they got the job done by the dozens.
They found them at home, on the road, and some they found on the run.
"We caught a lot of people off guard. Maybe we got lucky and it was cold this week. They were very surprised to see us," said Sheriff Chris Nocco.
More than 300 people were arrested; there were 557 warrant service attempts, 339 warrants served and 155 new criminal charges.
It was all part of "Operation Cold Justice."
"These people run back and forth and they don't have to worry about the county line when they go across," said Sgt. Dan Olds with the Pasco Sheriff's office.
They arrested people like Dave Schneider. He is accused of operating a grow house, trafficking cocaine and he had guns.
Deputies say another suspect, Scott Dawson, violated his parole. He was convicted on lewd and lascivious charges, but deputies said he was living with a few feet of where kids were playing.
And then there's Georgges Momejian.
"In plain view there were ziplock bags, the gallon ziplock bags in the dining room area all over the floor," a detective said.
Investigators say they found more than a thousand packets of synthetic drugs. They suspect he was selling it online, making $2,000 a day.
They said they tracked shipments to Egypt.
The Pinellas sheriff was outraged.
"This junk is not synthetic marijuana. It has nothing to do with marijuana. It has the complete opposite effect. It makes kids crazy and makes people crazy and causes them to act in ways that are dangerous to our society," said Sheriff Bob Gualtieri.
He and other agencies have a message for those violating the law.
"We are going to be right back out there tomorrow and doing the same thing," he said.
