DUNEDIN (FOX 13) -

Four families were evacuated from a Dunedin condominium after high winds caused a tree to crash into it.

It happened at the King Arthur Court Condos around 1:45 a.m. at Tahitian Place and King Arthur Court.

Fire officials at the scene said a combination of high winds and a rotten base caused the tree to fall. It was about 3 feet wide.

The Red Cross is helping those families find shelter. Officials said there were no injuries to report.
