If you thought the holiday shopping rush was over, guess again
December 26th is considered the 5th busiest shopping day of the year.
"It was busier at the mall after Christmas than before so we were surprised," said shopper Burton Hohman.
After Christmas sales deals and those clearance racks were too much to pass up for some. Signs listed 30% off, 50 even up to 75%.
"When I'm not working my mom and I we try to go shopping for gifts for next year," said shopper Amy Jo.
"Some Christmas decorations, some clothes ,toys they have left," said Tonya Gerard.
Of course the days after Christmas are notorious for something else, returns. Whether its the wrong size, wrong color or just the wrong gift all together carts are full of items going back to the store.
"I'm here to return something I didn't want to get," Gerard said. "I'm probably going to return it and get another sweater," she added.
If you plan on returning items, consumer reporter Chris Chmura says time isn't on your side.
"In 2013 stores have been nice with price matching but naughty with return policy...take Best Buy which has taken the window for return and cut it in half it used to be 30 days now its down to 15 and other stores are matching," Chmura said.
"You have to check your receipt if you don't get to the store is ASAP," he advised.
