Three separate shootings in Tampa kept police busy looking for the bad guys on Christmas Day.
The three shootings don't appear to be related, but they still have a lot of people shaken up.
The first incident happened at 24th and Cayuga. Police say a disturbance led to shots fired. Crime tape and police cars flooded the scene.
One person was hit, but he was not involved with the incident, just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was only grazed, and his injuries are not serious.
Another stray bullet went through a nearby apartment window, but that one did not hit anyone.
Just blocks away on 22nd and Northbay a huge Christmas event for kids was ruined when shots rang out. Hundreds of people went looking for shelter when shots were fired.
It happened at a community gathering meant for kids, but it came to an abrupt end. The organizers are livid, they say someone destroyed what was supposed to be an uplifting event.
A third shooting happened near 24th and Ybor Streets. We're told, a teens shoes and tablet were stolen. When he and his family went looking for the thief, a chase ensued, and a shot was ultimately fired into a car. No one was hit, but it brought out plenty of on-lookers and lots of police. Tampa Police Department are asking the public help to try to figure out what happened.
Police are still looking into all three shootings. Police say they are not related to each other, and not gang related.
