A Tampa woman is accused of killing her three-year-old granddaughter.
Carida Cobb was arrested Friday at her home on Juanita Street, and charged with the girl's death.
Tampa police say the toddler died last Friday, under the care of her grandmother.
They have not said how the little girl died, or what Cobb's role was.
But they tell us Cobb swallowed a large amount of pills after the child's death, and was arrested, and charged, as soon as she was released from the hospital.
She is being held without bond in the Hillsborough County Jail.
Cobb is charged with first degree murder, and aggravated child abuse.
