UPS said it is working around the clock to make sure all delayed deliveries arrive by Christmas Eve.
The recent ice storm in North Texas and other parts of the country caused a major backlog. Customers have complained that they are still waiting on some packages.
More than 900 managers from across the nation were brought in to North Texas to help. UPS also said it has leased U-Haul trucks and is using trailers, planes and golf carts to deliver packages.
The company will also deliver on Saturday and Sunday.
