A 43-year-old Wesley Chapel man was killed Thursday morning in a crash on I-275.
It happened near the Fowler exit around 3 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Otis Bailey lost control of his Ford SUV heading northbound on the interstate, colliding with the guardrail.
The vehicle overturned and went airborne, and then went down the embankment before hitting a support beam for a traffic signal.
FHP troopers say Bailey died at the scene.
The interstate was closed down for a couple of hours, but the lanes are now open.
